Henna tattoos: a trend in Korea?

Yesterday 2NE1 member Dara attended a schedule rocking a ‘2NE1’ henna tattoo on her shoulder. Today Park Bom showed off some knuckle tats via Me2day. I personally love them. Hmm, maybe we’ll be updated with a  picture of CL and Minzy  showing off some of her work too.

I am aware that 2NE1 isn’t the first Korean pop group to be styled with henna tattoos, but I can totally see them making it a trend. Trend setting has become something natural for the girls. Do you think so?  It was revealed that all of the girls indeed got the work on their body.

“You see, all four of us did it. Bom had it on her hands like pretty rings, Minji got it on her abs and CL on the neck. Everyone got it in their own desired spots! They were quite sexy! Yoohoo~! More charismatic~ We look like we have more fashion sense!^^;;; kyah kyah kyah! Come on~!” -Dara

I knew CL was going to get it on her neck. Keke. In The United States fake tattoos have become a trend. For the Spring 2010 Chanel fashion show the models wore transfer tattoos from the Les Trompe L’œil de Chanel.

They sell in a set of 55 individual tattoos for $78.00.  So stay tuned to Kstyle for more updates on this new trend.

Hwaiting!
